While floor plans are helpful we believe that the space layout for your centre needs to take many factors into consideration, such as lighting, sun direction, room orientation, centre flow, window placements etc. We can assist with MOE minimum requirements, and provide furniture lists based on centre size and licensing numbers.  Depending on location we are more than happy to meet onsite, if location does not permit onsite visits no matter how many phone calls or emails it takes we will ensure you have all the information you need to proceed.

The Ministry of Education offer recommendations of the types of furniture required for operating an Early Childhood centre in NZ. We can assist with providing a list of furniture for your new or existing centre based on these recommendations.

Starex furniture is specifically built to last the ‘test of time’ in the Early Childhood industry, therefore all of our furniture is fully assembled and ready to use the moment it is delivered.

Starex does not manufacture flat packed furniture.

We build our furniture to stand the test of time as we understand the Early Childhood industry is a tough environment. We have a reputation for manufacturing quality long lasting products and if there is an issue with workmanship or faulty materials we will make it right. We pride ourselves in the fact that all of our furniture is 100% NZ made in our factory at Mount Maunganui, we have total control of all materials used and source locally and through NZ suppliers.

Generally 3-4 weeks for production and delivery of order.

Depending on where you are in NZ:  North Island from 1 – 5 days and South Island 3 – 10 days.

Yes, however Starex uses reputable freight companies who offer very competitive rates. They blanket all of our furniture to minimise damages.

If you wish to arrange your own freight Starex will take no responsibility for any damage from point of collection.

 

Yes, by going through the Child Labor Free accreditation we are opening up our doors to prove that our manufacturing process is all above board. Begs the question to companies that are not getting the Child Labor Free stamp, what do they have to hide? Find out more information about CLF here.

Yes, although we don’t have a showroom there is always something to see in our factory, we welcome visitors anytime. Please contact us to make a time so we can arrange for someone to show you around. We are very proud of our NZ made products, and our wonderful staff who make them.
